Mile Milenkoski

Mile Milenkoski is diplomat and border expert from Republic of Macedonia. He was member of numerous border commissions, including delimitation and demarcation commissions of Republic of Macedonia with its neighbors. He participated in several workshops and conferences organized by International Boundaries Research Unit, University of Durham, England. In 12005 he published a book "The state borders of the Republic of Macedonia and Association in the European Union", based on his Master’s thesis. He is currently employed as a head of Unit for borders and overfligths at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia where he worked on various borders related issues.

Mile will be speaking about controlling irregular migration at borders at 16.15 as part of Stream B (Migration) on Day One, 21st May. Mile is best placed to give a presentation as this topic as the diplomat and border expert from Republic of Macedonia. He is a
